MARCH 30, 2023—The City College of Angeles held a Testimonial Luncheon at the CCA Admin Hall to celebrate the 2022 board passers and the institution's milestone with the newly certified public workers.
The celebration began with the invocation and the singing of the national anthem led by the CCA Tinig Angeleño.
Acting President Dr. Francisco L. Villanueva then welcomed the board passers, followed by an inspirational message from Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. delivered through Raffy Angeles, recognizing the board passers for striving and becoming capable members of the society.
The CCA Performing Arts entertained the board passers with a special heartfelt performance.
Dr. Villanueva and Raffy Angeles then led the awarding of certificates of commendation to the board passers who were present.
Mr. John Christian Dizon, the lone CPA Board Passer of CCA in 2022, expressed his gratitude towards everyone who had been part of his journey and triumph.
Acting Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Carolina A. Sarmiento concluded the event by congratulating the alumni and board passers for their accomplishment and hopes for them to "continue the thirst for knowledge and to be open to many opportunities."
Dr. Sarmiento concluded her speech gently reminding the passers to "remain grounded despite all the successes" they will reach.
